where do you get your desings? cause i want to draw my own struffs but i'm very shit. Any tips?

This is a bit of a long story, but to cut it short I'm a history buff and I'm getting into DAK reenacting. I'll be at the next WW2 Weekend at Jacobsburg PA in full uniform even. I get the designs for how everything should look by doing an insane amount of historical research. I've used references in some places and my own memory in others.

As for tips on drawing and art in general, I'm probably the last person to ask. My own drawing books are filled with sketches and art from years gone by, It's honestly all practice and honing your craft. I don't own any fancy equipment for digital art, all I do is get a drawing book, quality pencils -usually Staedtler- a good sharpener to go with (it's amazing how many shitty sharpeners there are on the market, like jeez.), and a drawing book and simply sketch whatever comes to mind.

Every artist will hate their own work, that's kind of a given. You've just gotta use that to drive yourself to improve.

very noice

Dankeschön
